supporting northern nevada
The NNEMSC was created to provide a Non- Profit source for donations to support the health and well being of Rural Northern Nevada.
NNEMSC will also provide support to rural ground EMS, Fire, and Health Systems who have limited forms of fund raising to purchase equipment, provide higher level education to local providers, up to and including the need for medical control for rural services.
Don't let your hard-earned dollars fly out of your community! Thanks to the generous donations of your neighbors, Air Ambulance Membership for six Northern Nevada Counties is paid for through NNEMSC.
We are local and involved in our communities in Northern Nevada. Currently the largest program we support is the air medical program which are patient centered, not profit centered. The unique aspect of these programs, like MedX AirOne, is that there is no membership to buy and each permanent resident of sixcounties is covered thanks to donations from community members, businesses, and organizations.
With funds raised for the Northern Nevada EMS Consortium (NNEMSC), we hope to continue to offer many programs and services like those provided through MedX AirOne to ensure full coverage of residents and that no one will receive a balance bill after an emergency.
By making a financial contribution to our cause, you are helping us continue to be able to offer these much needed emergency medical services in the area. Your generosity is crucial to the success of this worthy program and will build a solid foundation for the generations to come.
Your financial support helps with the following:
-Provide support to rural ground EMS, Fire, and Health Systems who have limited forms of fundraising to purchase equipment that continues to be subject to rising costs that many of the Counties cannot afford.
-Provide critical care equipment to rural health clinics and Critical Access Hospitals such as ventilators for airway support and IV pumps for calculation of weight based medications.
-Education to health care providers at the facilities that supports the equipment and it’s uses, such as ventilator management classes.
-Provide higher level education to local providers. Education provided to local providers include but not limited to ACLS, PALS, TNCC, PHTLS, along with all other required classes to maintain the specific level of licensure of the individual services.
-Ensure that more than 85,500 residents are covered for air medical transport through MedX AirOne in Elko, Lander, Eureka, Humboldt, White Pine and Pershing Counties. Thanks to this program, no large bill is sent to a resident after their transport and during a chaotic period in their lives. These residents will not have the burden of trying to pay for a bill up to $100,000 out of their pocket and face the possibility of bankruptcy.
Your generous gift to this worthy program is a tax deductible donation.
